Terms and Conditions for Construction Energy Ltd

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Construction Energy Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By engaging our services, you (“Client”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Provided

Construction Energy Ltd offers consultation, design, supply, and installation of solar photovoltaic systems, solar water heaters, water filters, energy storage solutions, and general construction services.

3. Quotations & Estimates

All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued and are subject to change based on material costs, site conditions, or design revisions. Final pricing is confirmed in the client invoice.

4. Payments

A 50% deposit is required before any work or procurement begins. The remaining balance is due upon project completion or as outlined in the project agreement. Late payments may attract a 5% penalty fee per month.

5. Installation Timeline

Estimated timelines are provided based on site readiness and product availability. Delays caused by weather, third-party approvals, or customer inaction are not the responsibility of Construction Energy Ltd.

6. Warranty

Solar systems are covered by manufacturer warranties (typically 10-25 years) and installation workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. Warranty is void if the system is tampered with or serviced by unauthorized personnel.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Clients must ensure:

• Clear site access for equipment and personnel
  
• Timely approvals from landlords or local authorities
  
• That the property has adequate water and electrical infrastructure
  

8. Limitation of Liability

Construction Energy Ltd shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income due to system downtime, utility rate changes, or force majeure events (e.g., hurricanes).

9. Intellectual Property

All designs, content, and materials shared with the client remain the intellectual property of Construction Energy Ltd unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Cancellations & Refunds

Clients cancelling projects after material procurement may be liable for associated costs. Refunds are not guaranteed once installation has begun.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of Jamaica.

12. Amendments

Construction Energy Ltd reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available on our website.
